Armed with a Philosophy degree and Masters’ work at the U. of St. Thomas, Mr. David Heffernan (’13, Green) is Athletic Director at Cathedral High School. Introduced to rugby while at Western, David is forming a summer league for Old Boys.

After school, in March, 24 members of last year’s graduating class reunited on campus for a game of Basil Ball. These were the guys who invented Branch Ball and then Basil Ball, with Adair Coffman being the main creator.

Jimmy Broussard (’17) came to Western for his eighth grade year in the fall of 2016. Jimmy lived with his loving grandparents who called Jimmy’s year at Western “the best year of his life.”
