WA Runner Excels!

Joseph Nichols competed in the TAAF (Texas Amateur Athletic Federation) state championship meet in McAllen, TX in the 10u category last week. He qualified for the State Meet by winning the 1600 (two years in a row) and placing 2nd in the 800 at the Houston regional meet 3 weeks ago. Joseph improved upon his seed position and placed 8th in the 800 with a time of 2:46. He was 2nd in the 1600 with a time of 5:46 in a race that was very competitive and saw Joseph claim second in the last 10 meters. Both times were personal records. Well done, Joseph!
