Fatherhood Series - Offered by the Chaucer Center at Western Academy, the Fatherhood Series assists dads in the education of their children. Each lecture is preceded by Mass at 7:00am followed by breakfast. The talks begin at 8:15am, run until about 9:15am, and will take place on two remaining Saturdays: February 25 and April 1. 

Mr. Jason Joseph, a teacher at Cistercian Preparatory School in Irving, will deliver the second address on February 26 on the theme "Getting Lost in a Book." Mr. Joseph will offer suggestions on how to promote a culture of reading in the home. 

Faith Seeking Understanding Lecture Series for Men - Dads are invited to a series of theology classes, again hosted by the Chaucer Drive Study Center, on the second Saturday of the month to deepen the understanding of our Faith. These presentations begin with Mass at 7:00am, followed by a breakfast at 7:45, and the talk at 8:00am; the event has an anticipated end time of 9:30am. Here are the fall dates and topics: 
Feb 11: Christ the Redeemer
Mar 11: The Holy Spirit and the Church
Apr 8: The Church Through the Centuries
May 13: Resurrection & Life Everlasting

Dangerous Club for Fathers and Sons - The Chaucer Center is sponsoring the Dangerous Club for Fathers and Sons this year. Regular club meetings will take place the first Sunday afternoon of the month from 3:00pm-5:00pm for the Rangers group (grades 6-8) and the second Sunday afternoon of the month from 3:00pm-5:00pm for the Pathfinders group (grades 3-5). The group will organize day trips and campouts throughout the year. Contact Larry Monks for more information.
