Wilderness Explorer Camp
Blazing trails, hacking through underbrush with only a compass as your guide to map your explorations, discovering and naming new plants and animals while learning to avoid venomous and dangerous ones, hearing about and following in the footsteps of real-life adventurers such as Lewis and Clark, Roosevelt, and Shackleton, recreating the dire situations of these explorers, and learning the same techniques they used to persevere against the odds, getting out of dangerous situations by building signal fires, foraging and trapping for food, building and navigating with a raft, building weapons and tools with only the basic natural resources at hand: all these and more are some of the adventures that we will embark upon in Wilderness Explorer Camp!
