Another Eagle Scout!
Alessandro Fowler (‘18) was awarded his Eagle Scout in July at an Eagle Court of Honor ceremony.
For his Eagle project, Alessandro decided to help out the school he attended just before attending Western, School for Young Children.
The project was in two parts, the first was to convert the gravel area where the school stored their waste and recycle bins to a flat concrete surface level with the driveway. Secondly, Alessandro oversaw the building of two garden planters placed in the school’s playground. These planters are accessible to students and provide an excuse to conduct outdoor lessons on plants and the environment… in true Western style!!
Over a two-day period in mid-March, Alessandro, along with Scouts and adults from Troop 20, completed the two projects. His former School was super appreciative for the improvements of Alessandro’s projects.
