Dangerous Club for Boys Camp
Dangerous Club for Boys, inspired in part by The Dangerous Book for Boys, will offer a sampling of activities and lessons that will familiarize the boys with stories, hobbies, games, and skills that every boy should know and love. The goal is to awaken a boy’s natural passion for learning and to encourage him on the dangerous adventure of becoming a good man! Two 1-week sessions as follows:
Week 1: Legends of the Wild West
Campers will participate in a variety of manly activities such as archery, Red Ryder bb guns, Blitz Ball, flag football, basketball, wrestling, horse shoes, Bingo, Bull-in-the-Ring, Murderball, Thud and Four Square to name a few common ones from the past. Campers will learn about famous and infamous cowboys such as Wyatt Earp, Doc Holliday, Jesse James, Billy the Kid, and Davy Crockett as well as heroic Indians like Geronimo. Additionally, they’ll be immersed in the iconic music, art, science, and lore of the Wild West as they vie for the Cowboy Prize.

Week 2: King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table
Campers will participate in a variety of manly activities such as archery, Red Ryder bb guns, wrestling, Bull-in-the-Ring, Murderball, Thud, mat ball, floor hockey, cards, bocce, disc golf, and Jenga to name just a few. Campers will learn about King Arthur and several famous knights of the Round Table such as Lancelot, Sir Gareth, Sir Gawain, Percival and their feared enemies like Mordred and Morgana. Campers will learn about medieval and Renaissance music, art, and science inspired by the Arthurian tradition as they battle it out for the Prize of Camelot.
