2021 Old Boys Honored at Strake Jesuit
Chosen by the faculty among the fifteen highest academic performers in the senior class, Henry Omanga (‘21) was chosen to give the Valedictorian address at Strake Jesuit’s graduation on May 25, according to Strake News.
Henry will study Philosophy at the University of Notre Dame in the fall. Among other achievements, Henry was a football varsity two-year starter and team captain and a three-year letterman track athlete. Interestingly, his high school noted that Henry volunteers at a summer camp, focusing on fostering faith and leadership for middle school boys, served as a mentor at an after-school program for middle school boys, commending Henry for his volunteer work at LCT and Westcott programs over the years! Congrats, Henry!
Luke Webber received Crusader of the Year award, chosen by his teachers from his entire senior class. The school says the award, reflects the school’s ideals through his quiet strength and steadfast faith. Gentle and polite, he has a magnetic peacefulness that others gravitate toward. He is academically gifted and is always willing to help others succeed. He serves others in many roles, as a leader and academic tutor. Congrats, Luke, for such a great, well-deserved honor!
