Edmund Carrol’s Wedding

On December 26th, at St. Bartholomew's Church, 4th grade teacher, Edmund Carroll ('13) married Ana Leal Garza. The Mass was celebrated in full solemnity, many of the prayers, including the eucharistic prayer in Latin. The choir was led by none other than Rafael Bello (’14).

In the Mass, Fr. Ricardo Arriola, told that "today is the feast of St. Stephen in the Church, the first martyr. So, here we have the rare combination of martyrdom and marriage! The stones are flying today as Edmund and Anna are wedding!”

The party afterwards was super lively, with the highlights being the first dance

David O’Bar (’13), Edmund’s longtime roommate, gave the best-man’s toast in a totally expected dramatic way, including the presentation of swords, and a huge sword fight with three dinosaurs on hand!

So many Western faculty, parents, classmates attended the Mass and dinner.

Best-dressed father and son at the wedding, elegant Robert Jones (6th) and father Andreas!

So many Western boys were on hand for the wedding, along with teachers and parents. Here are a few of us surrounding Johnny on his big day. Johnny's 2018 classmates above included Bruno Castillo, Andy Caranti, Fede Celis and Rafa Parra. Sets of brothers above included the Omanga twins, Caranti, Cosgray, Vera, O'Bar and Webber brothers.
