Webber Wins Maddox Scholarship

JP Webber (’20) is again in the news as he leaves Strake Jesuit. He has been awarded a college scholarship as one of the finalists of the Todd Maddox Award. Todd Maddox was a boy who died upon graduation from Strake and Todd’s parents provide a Scholarship in his memory to “the top three Seniors who exemplify living out their Christian faith at school.” The winners are voted on by their classmates, faculty and staff.

Also, JP selected Alessandro Directo (’20) to write his letter of thanks to Mrs. Maddox on JP's behalf. By the way, after receiving offers from other prestigious colleges, JP has chosen to attend the University of Dallas in the Fall. Congrats to JP and the Webber family!
