High School Valedictorian
Mason Abrell (’18), has been named Strake Jesuit College Prep Valedictorian for the Class of 2022.
According to Jesuit news:
Mason Abrell will attend Yale University and plans to study Physics and East Asian Studies. Mason has been very active in his community, whether that be co-founding HTT, a group dedicated to helping break the cycle of poverty, working at the Food Bank, or organizing relief efforts in his neighborhood during Winter Storm Uri. He was a part of Spectrum 3847, Strake Jesuit’s robotics team, where he was a subsystem lead. He was also in symphonic band, where he played the flute, and was a house captain for Bellarmine House.
Mason is the second Western graduate to attend Yale, joining Marco Nino (’16) there. Congrats to Mason and his parents, Matt and Jeanette!
