#1 High School Rugby Ranking

Pablo Granados ’17 leads the charge with his awesome game face, playing for Jesuit Rugby over the weekend. Strake snatched a #1 National Ranking for Single School Rugby this week with a win over Brother Martin HS of New Orleans. Chris Hoekel ’17 is also a member of the team. These boys are the latest group in a chain of Green Jay Ruggers playing at HS Varsity Level, beginning back in 2012 at Western. Mr. Larry Monks was their coach four years ago when Pablo’s class was affectionately christened “Best in Texas” in 2017 for beating the Woodlands Rugby Club, then state champion.
