2014 Old Boys Roommates at UT this Year

Jose Martinez (left) studies Mechanical Engineering at the Cockrell School of Engineering and is an active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, where he received the Fall 2018 member of the year award. He also is a member of the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers. John Villanueva (right) studies Business at the McCombs School of Business and works with the Hispanic Business Students Association as a chair for the company field trip committee. He is also a business analyst for the Hyperloop Engineering Team at the University of Texas at Austin (also known as Texas Guadaloop), an organization that researches Hyperloop technologies and builds pods to compete at the SpaceX Hyperloop competition. John is also on the Faith Formation Committee of the Longhorn Catholic Council at UT Catholic Center. Both boys graduated from Strake Jesuit High School and are roommates this year in Jester Hall.
