Carlos Cerda will attend Benedictine College

Carlos Cerda (2014) will attend Benedictine College in Kansas next year, receiving the Presidential Scholars Award, a full four-year tuition scholarship, to include a year of study in Florence. Carlos and 250 other high school seniors with a 4.0 or higher GPA were invited to Benedictine for a writing competition in January. His essay writing prompt was on C.S. Lewis. According to Carlos, he wrote freely, knowing the competition was steep. Carlos plans to study Theology and Philosophy and minor in the Classics and Biology.
