Fifth Annual 8th Grade Commencement

Our fifth Baccalaureate Mass and Commencement for the 22 young men in our 8th grade class took place in Heorot Hall amidst storming rains and winds, the evening of Friday, May 27.

Our largest graduating class included six young men who were in the initial 3rd grade to start Western on the day the school opened in September 2010.  They are the first set of students to complete all six years at Western.  These are:  Jackson Barr, Carl Belton, C. J. Carroll, Andy Gosselin, Peter LeBlanc, and Juan Patricio Vera.
 
Student speakers, Carl Belton and Trip Twardowski, shared humorous memories of their time at Western, and explained the gifts they gave and received while at school.
 
As a faculty, we feel privileged to be a part of the lives of these young men and look forward to keeping up and mentoring them as they move ahead in life.
