Rugby Players at Strake Jesuit
On Friday, April 7, Green Jay Rugby fellows defeated Lanier Middle School, hosted by St Pius High School in Spring. The game was set at 4.30 before the St Pius vs. Strake JV Rugby game. After the Green Jay victory, we had the opportunity to visit with our old boys, out of the five boys currently playing rugby at Strake were Josef Schmidt, Matthew Granberry and Alvaro Directo, Karl Schmidt and Joey Figueroa were sitting out that day. It was great seeing these boys. Coaches always brag about our boys as the solid gentlemen they are.
