Katie Elrod is the Director of Curriculum at Montrose School in Boston where she lives with her husband Kevin and son TJ. She has been a humanities teacher and administrator at independent schools for almost twenty years and has taught in the philosophy department at Boston College. She has spoken on parenting, pro-life feminism and Catholic Social Teaching at universities such as Notre Dame, MIT and Boston College, as well as conferences and workshops in the Northeast. Mrs. Elrod contributed to the book Women, Sex and The Church which challenges some common misconceptions about certain Catholic teachings. She obtained her B.A. and her M.A. in philosophy from Boston College, where she was a Lonergan Fellow.
