Richard Gosselin, Math Tutor
Richard Gosselin is a afternoon math tutor at Western Academy. Richard also serves as the Interim Chairman for the Division of Social and Behavioral Sciences at Houston Community College in Midtown, where he has taught economics for over 20 years. Richard has been recognized by his peers for teaching excellence by twice winning the Teaching Innovation award and the NISOD award, which recognizes teaching and leadership excellence in institutions of higher education. He has written reviews for over a dozen textbooks and has authored instructors manuals, test banks and student study guides for one of the nation's leading economics textbooks. He is the founder and past president of the Gulf Coast Economics Association and has served as president of Houston Family Foundation. Richard is also a guest lecturer with the Center for the American Republic, a program of the Free Enterprise Institute.
